UK VAT will be charged where appropriate. There are no delivery charges. When placing an order, through this web site, a binding contract is created when either of the following documents have been electronically sent to you - a setup e-mail for hosting, or a 'pdf' electronic copy of the invoice.  EU Distance Selling Directive As of 31st October 2000 the EU Distance Selling Directive became part of UK law, courtesy of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This directive applies to all transactions where the consumer does not actually meet the vendor. In simple terms it gives you, the consumer, the right to cancel any agreement within 7 days and get a full refund. The only exception is 'customised' goods. We believe that the registration of a domain name is classified as a 'customised' product, and as such cannot be cancelled under the directive. However, our hosting services are covered, and therefore you have a right to cancel the hosting with us within 7 days for any reason. We are obliged to refund all charges (including the setup fee) to you within 30 days of your cancellation. If you wish to cancel a hosting package, within the 7 day 'cooling off' period, please e-mail your full details via our contact page and we will immediately close the account and arrange the refund of charges. Contracts concluded between businesses are not governed by these regulations. |
